About the research
Research objective: The purpose of this proposal is to instrument, monitor and evaluate the performance of a precast, post-tensioned concrete bridge approach pavement (PPAP). This project is an important step in the rapid construction as well as the overall ride quality and structural durability of bridges and approach pavements in Iowa.
